ATEN Unveils a New Digital Signage/Video Display Management Solution

The Media Distribution Solution's combination of advanced Cat 5 video splitter and repeater distributes high quality audio/video content to multiple displays in real time.

ATEN International, a leading designer, manufacturer and distributor of cutting-edge connectivity solutions, introduces the new Media Distribution Solution - an end-to-end digital signage/visual information management system. The cost-effective solution efficiently distributes high-quality audio and video content over Cat 5 cable to multiple displays from a single input source.

The ATEN complete Media Distribution Solution consists of the 4- and 8-port Cat 5 Audio/Video splitters - VS1504 and VS1508, as well as VB552 VGA Over Cat 5 Repeater. The solution is ideal for installations that require multimedia content to be delivered to multiple destinations. Through cascade connection, the VS1504/VS1508 can support thousands of displays when combined with ATEN repeaters. With two RS-232 channels and support for high video resolutions, the solution is the perfect way to extend the range of A/V and serial transmissions.
 

Cascadable to three levels, the ATEN Media Distribution Solution can support thousands of displays located up to 450m from the source device while maintaining excellent picture and sound quality. The solution also provides screen controls at the remote sites, and incorporates RS-232 connectivity so that devices such as touchscreens can be included in the installation.
